Dear Alumni, Family, and Friends:

I am so excited to be in the presence of so many accomplished individuals.

You might've been that alum who dreams came true after graduation or you might be that individual that made a tremendous impact in so many Germantown High School students.

There is so much to be thankful for looking back over our history. The School District of Philadelphia officially closed the doors at GHS on June 19, 2013. We fought a good fight, and their plans were to make sure that we wouldn't continue.

Our Alma Mater memories will never be erased, we are still connected in so many ways even though the school is closed. As the Germantown High School Alumni Association, Inc. (GHSAA) it is our business to keep us connected via social media, class reunions and whatever means necessary.  Every time we see each other, we know that we are “Bears for Life” and here to stay.

Please except my invitation to become a member of the GHSAA.  It would be fantastic to have a member(s) of each graduation class to be represented on the board.  With over 500,000 graduates your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We thank you for being here to celebrate with us and it is my pleasure as your President to say, “Welcome to Bear Country”.
